Jonathon's Curse

The song came about during our own personal writers retreat in a cabin at Pike Lake in the fall of 2023...it was a dark rainy night...there was a full moon...we heard coyotes howling...this set the scene...

We came up with the first line as we were jamming a riff, then we continued brainstorming ideas as the story built around a man with regrets in his life wanting change, who was approached by a witch promising to do this for him. The essence is dark and foreboding...by the end of the story the character Jonathon gets what he asks for, but soon finds out there was a price to pay. The music and melody of the song have a medieval renaissance vibe. We hope you enjoy!!
