In 2014, I officially made some huge decisions and started over with my life. I knew it was necessary, and that everything I was reaching for and wanting in life was waiting for me. I was broken. I wasn’t lost, but I felt like I had lost everything other than myself, and my children.

While in thought and tears in my vehicle, I slammed my hands down on the steering wheel and said out loud, “I just want to be free to love, and I want to be loved!” This was a big acknowledgement for me. The simplicity of what I want.

Fast forward to June 2019, I am laying on my back looking up at the night sky in Northern Saskatchewan when these words rolled out of my mouth, “how do you know what home is if you’ve never felt it before? How do you even know what to look for?” I laid there contemplating… then I was hit with heavy emotions and said, “I know! You find HOME in yourself, and then maybe you can find it with another person.
