An authentic country boy through and through, with a love for all things you would expect to find in someone raised in Roblin, Manitoba. Now a Saskatchewan boy, Jesse Genns finds himself right at home in cowboy country Swift Current invested in hunting, fishing, branding cattle, horseback riding, and all themes of country living in Canada. Jesse Genns weaves the background of his life into the stories he shares through music.
Jesse’s story is read like the lyrics of a song. Gaining his start in a church where he discovered a love for music, this multitalented musician learned to play the guitar, drums, bass, and eventually went on to win Charlie’s idol.
Since 2019, Jesse has shared his gift of music professionally. Whether a small intimate gathering, or a large rodeo Genns says this about playing live, “I love playing live, there is no greater honor than doing what I love in front of a crowd of people.”
Despite Jesse’s youthful vigor and energy, there is a quiet humility to this Saskatchewan country artist. He says, “My main goal is to have my music mean something to someone. That’s the dream right there!”
