An authentic Country boy through and through, with a love for all thing you would expect to find in a someone raised in Roblin, Manitoba. Now a Saskatchewan boy, Jesse Genns finds himself right at home in cowboy country, Swift Current. Hunting, fishing, branding cattle, horseback riding, all themes of country living in Canada. Jesse Genns weaves the background of his life into stories he shares through music.
Jesse’s story reads like the lyrics of song; gaining his start in a church he discovered a love for music, a multi-talented musician, Genns learned to play the acoustic guitar, drums, and bass, eventually going on to win Charlie’s Idol.
Since 2019 Jesse has been sharing his gift of music professionally. Whether it’s a small intimate gathering or a large rodeo, Genns says about playing live “I love playing live because there is no better honor than to do what I do in front of a crowd of fans.”
Despite Jesse’s youthful vigor and energy, there is a quiet humbleness to this Saskatchewan Country artist. “My main goal is to have my music mean something to someone. That's the dream right there."
